Safeguarding our students

At The E-ACT Burnham Park Academy we are committed to safeguarding our students, and we expect everyone who works in our academy to share this commitment.

All staff believe that our academy should provide a safe, caring, positive and stimulating environment that promotes social, physical and moral development of the individual child.

With the accessibility and high use of social media and websites, students and staff need to keep themselves safe online. We work with all of our students, parents and staff on internet safety and we also have clear expectations of what is acceptable use of electronic communication.

‘Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children is everyone’s responsibility. Everyone who comes into contact with children and their families and carers has a role to play in safeguarding children.’
